SoftVu's 2003 Year in Review

SoftVu completes remarkable year—eclipses $1,000,000 in sales, poised for growth in 2004. - 3/02/04

Leawood , KS ( March 2, 2004) SoftVu LLC completed 2003 with a number of remarkable accomplishments, including the completion of seed funding, a completely revamped website, a record number of new clients, several staff additions and record sales topping $1,000,000 for the first time in SoftVu's history.

SoftVu also set the groundwork for significant growth in 2004, making several staffing additions and adjustments, implementing advisory boards in several key business areas, and beginning systematic lead generation efforts using its own processes and technologies that it hopes to sell to its customers in the future. "With the amount of work currently scheduled and orders in the pipeline, 2004 should start out with a bang and represent a banner year for SoftVu's growth" said SoftVu President and Founder Tim Donnelly.

Notable events in 2003:

December 15:New, significant updates to www.SoftVu.com website go live. SoftVu's new website features an entirely new look and feel, complete company history and overview, showcase with rich media content examples, improved navigation features, complete press release catalog, and more.

December 10: SMajor Relay improvements released. SoftVu included major improvements to its Customize Message page (the page where Relay users design email marketing messages), mail service software, and many smaller improvements.

December 8: SSubstantial KTEC funding awarded to SoftVu to help SoftVu take it's technology to market. Tim Donnelly, SoftVu President remarked, "This is a big win for us, not just because of the capital invested, but also because of the credibility their investment adds to our company and their shared vision for SoftVu's future."

December 4: Seed funding completed. After SoftVu received notice that KTEC granted funding and several smaller investors expressed a commitment to investing, SoftVu met its full seed funding goals to date.

December 5: New client and first reseller established. infoUSA/Polk City Directories and SoftVu begin talks aimed at beginning a "two-phased" partnership. In the first phase, Polk plans to use SoftVu's marketing solutions to develop rich media eBrochures and market its line of marketing data services, including the traditional print Polk City Directories, infoTYMEa searchable CD containing Polk City Directory data, and its on-line and data its consumer and business database and analysis services. The second phase includes discussion of the possibilities of InfoUSA becoming a strategic reseller of SoftVu products and services.

October 3: Former Spherion Special Projects Director, Darcie Perry joins staff. Long-time Spherion executive Darcie Perry joins SoftVu as a Business Consultant. Darcie's role is focused on helping Spherion take full advantage of SoftVu's solutions and realize more of the potential return on investment.

September 16: SAEIS eCard application (www.aeis.com) goes live. SoftVu completed the AEIS custom eCard application, website, and nine eCards in time for AEIS to feature the application at MoShow in Chicago.

September 19: Tim Donnelly, SoftVu President and Founder featured in Greater KC Business, published by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. A Popular local business journal singles out Tim as a survivor in a regular feature article entitled "No Problem," published in its September issue.

Auguest 13: SoftVu and AEIS begin partnership. American Express American Express Incentive Services (AEIS) signs an agreement with SoftVu LLC to begin production on an eCard application to distribute a set of "Rich Recognition eCards" to help AEIS "present the softer side of American Express" to its incentives services customers.

July 17: Sheryl Briggs returns to SoftVu staff. Sheryl comes on board and adds her experience from Xerox, Burns and McDonnell, and Puritan Bennett to the software development staff. Sheryl helped develop early versions of SoftVu's original applications early on in SoftVu's history.

May 1: First custom API solution deployed. SoftVu deploys an API solution that allows eSmartLoan.com to send out introduction videos automatically from within their existing CRM.

May 21: Tim Donnelly appears at InvestMidwest. SoftVu's President presents rich media solutions to prominent investors at InvestMidwest and brings SoftVu recognition from industry publications.

April 26: SoftVu Offices Moved. SoftVu moved to a larger, more modern space near many prestigious companies like Merrill Lynch, CBIZ, Dupont STRATCO, Aetna, Smith Barney, Ernst & Young, American Academy of Family Physicians, Quantum Marketing and Financial, and others. SoftVu accomplished the move with no service interruptions.

April 22: NetBotz CEO, Tom Goldman, joins SoftVu Board of Directors. Tom brings experience as NetBotz CEO, Apogee Networks COO, Xerox Connect Sales VP, and Bell Atlantic Network Integration VP and GM.

April 15: NetBotz signs on with SoftVu for 3 eBrochures, corporate wide Relay accounts. NetBotz orders first series of eBrochures. This campaign wins OMNI Award early in 2004.

March 30: The Pinehurst Company engages SoftVu to create custom eMarketing solution, first eProposal application. The Pinehurst Company, including Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, North Carolina, Barton Creek in Austin, Texas, and The Homestead, in Hot Springs, Virginia, contract with SoftVu to create custom eCards and SoftVu's first custom eProposal application, automating the task of creating, sending and tracking letter proposals.

March 15: Lance Melber joins SoftVu Board of Directors. Lance Melber, eSmartLoan.com CEO, joins SoftVu's board of directors and brings his considerable business experience and abilities to help SoftVu's growth.

February 17:Digital News Service Launched. Digital News provides a way for corporations and other organizations to push important information out to their clients or other targeted groups while adding all the advantages of Rich Media to existing press releases.
