Business Development Executive

Summary

Sells products and service for SoftVu to qualified business who can benefit from the Company’s service offering.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of this role are to support the sales and marketing efforts of SoftVu and to help the company achieve its revenue objectives. Business Development Executives (BDE) will be the primary point of contact for each new prospect. The BDE will perform marketing support, sales, client turnover and sales support functions. Other duties include management and follow up of lead generation campaigns, tradeshows and marketing events.

Marketing Support

  • Researches and compiles lists of prospective clients, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Creates marketing collateral for targeted markets including industry markets and horizontal markets such as sales, marketing, HR and corporate communications.
  • Attends trade shows and other marketing events.

Sales

  • Meets or exceeds sales quota and expectations.
  • Creates and meets monthly milestones.
  • Calls on existing and prospective clients to cross sell solutions and to solicit new client relationships in person or by phone.
  • Knowledge expert in respective markets.
  • Supports creation of new industry specific campaigns.
  • Develops industry partnerships and relationships to support sales efforts.
  • Presents SoftVu solutions to prospective clients through presentations, web-ex demonstrations, phone calls and meetings.
  • Proposes solutions to clients including the writing of the proposal, quoting of the solutions and creation of the contractual agreements.
  • Independently closes new business opportunities.

Client Hand-off and Coordination, and Campaign Management

  • Estimates delivery plan for client, based on knowledge of production capacity and representative experience in the industry solution is provided for.
  • Conducts lead generation programs for SoftVu and/or existing clients as part of value added services offered to our clients.

Sales Support

  • Prepares reports of business transactions and works with other sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Coordinates client turnover process including the set-up, training and services plan for client.
  • Investigates and resolves client problems and opportunities.
  • Enters client data and other sales data for current clients into Client relationship management database.
