New System from SoftVu Improves Campaign Deliverability and Tracking.

Proprietary on-demand system meets clients’ demand for marketing automation tool.

Overland Park, KS (September 17, 2007) — SoftVu LLC released a major software architecture this month with robust campaign functions giving businesses new flexibility in distributing rich media content via email.

The most significant update to the software is the strategic ways it allows businesses to create and automate a variety of rich media communications. Content elements in a multi-media message flex based on consumer behavior. SoftVu has earned a reputation in the industry for helping clients increase customer engagement through successful “humanized” communications—personal video messages featuring a company’s sales force.

The new solution has enhanced tracking and reporting features that send view notifications to the sender when recipients open or engage with the communications.

“The users can maximize sales because the platform sends the right message for the right person at the ideal time. The user knows exactly when to make contact,” said Tommy Hinton, vice president chief technology officer at SoftVu. “We’re taking rich media to a new level. The new architecture will help SoftVu expand to a larger client base and it also accommodates our larger clients who have an extremely large volume of email delivery.”

The platform recognizes a standard Outlook and Salesforce.com CSV format for importing contacts. Other features include:

  • New campaign steps in the platform to create, manage, and track to obtain important customer information.
  • Tracking which can be accomplished at both a message and campaign level.
  • Improved management capabilities to handle contacts proficiently and upload thousands of contacts in seconds.
  • An enhanced Scheduled Sends feature so the user can schedule, view, and edit future email sends as needed.
  • Global Tracking allowing users to access sent messages and filter them by subject, campaign, various message criteria, and date ranges.
  • More drill-down capabilities to allow users to drill down at the campaign level to access sent messages and confirm delivery, open, click-through, and impressions at both an aggregate and individual recipient level.

Another important feature requested by SoftVu clients, Tommy said, is the template creation which now allows users to load multiple pieces of content. “It is easy for a user to load images, logos and lots of smaller components. Whether they need to send out a single landing page with one link, or a newsletter with multiple logos, businesses have the flexibility to use the tool according to their own rich media needs.”

Can-Spam Act compliant, Engager integrates with CRM systems to provide a full picture of the sales cycle. Over the next few months, Engager will replace Relay which is licensed to clients across the Untied States and Canada. The SoftVu engineering team will also focus on several enhancements for Engager to assist the financial services industry, a SoftVu client niche. SoftVu clients include America Express Incentive Services, America Funding, Capitol One, CapWest, Charter One, Chase, First American Title Insurance Company.
