Named for the story of David and Goliath to recognize the achievement of the “Creative Davids,” the Davey Awards focus on fresh ideas and exceptional execution rather than the biggest budgets. SoftVu was honored with two Silver Awards for an interactive rich media project and campaign developed for its client CapWest Mortgage. SoftVu’s were among more than 3,500 entries submitted by advertising agencies, interactive agencies, production firms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design firms, and public relations firms. Gold and Silver winning entries are judged on their merits based on a standard of excellence determined by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA). Elements of SoftVu’s services evaluated for the awards included the interactivity provided by SoftVu’s software solution called Relay, an online distribution and tracking system. SoftVu Chief Executive Officer, Steve Garver, said, "Just as David defeated the mighty Goliath with a big idea and a little rock, this recognition is a testament to our steadfast commitment to delivering high quality solutions for our clients. These awards also recognize the exceptional talents of our writers and designers. It is always rewarding to know our work is esteemed by our peers in the industry." SoftVu’s solutions are used in campaigns for lead generation, lead incubation, sales follow-up, and client retention programs. Other awards the integrated online communications firm has added to its trophy case for rich media projects include Fountain Awards from the Kansas City regional Business Marketing Association, OMNI Awards from the American Advertising Federation, and the Bronze Quill Award from the International Association of Business Communicators. The bank campaign focused on a growing family and how their financial needs change over a lifetime. SoftVu’s use of animation, voice over, pictures, videos and their Relay communications platform provided a competitive advantage. In the increasingly sophisticated online marketplace, SoftVu takes a best practice approach to break through and capture customer attention. "This was the first international competition SoftVu had entered,” reported Tim Donnelly, President of SoftVu." The campaign was very effective for our bank client and we appreciate the trust our client placed in us to develop this innovative approach for them. “ About The International Davey Awards.
